Genius Minds: An event to boost France’s appeal to British investors

On October 24 in London, Genius Minds brought together British leaders and representatives from French regions to promote the initiatives of the “France 2030” plan. This dynamic and collaborative event allowed participants to reflect on innovative investments, ecological transition, and the skills of tomorrow. Using Design Thinking workshops, Genius Minds encouraged exchanges between entrepreneurs, researchers, and experts, all gathered around common issues to boost France’s appeal to investors.

WEAMEC, a gateway to marine renewable energy for the Pays de la Loire region

WEAMEC took part in this event at the invitation of the Pays de la Loire Region as an expert in marine renewable energy in the region. Its presence provided an opportunity to exchange views with British stakeholders on advances in the MRE sector, both in France and the United Kingdom, and to discuss the challenges to be overcome.

The event also provided an opportunity to present the region’s strengths in terms of specific training, research topics, and dedicated testing facilities to the companies in attendance. It was a time for constructive discussions with a view to future collaborations.
